Which Gili Meno beach suits your visit?
Choose Gili Meno’s west coast for a beach visit that includes the Nest landmark or sunset, and the east side when staying close to the passenger jetty matters. Mahamaya’s west-coast Turtle Point is another named location; it is not the same beach pin as Turtle Point on Gili Trawangan.
For a short day visit, choose one coast before buying a return transfer. Arriving on the east side does not put you at the underwater statues, and a stop offshore on a snorkel tour does not necessarily give you time on the beach.
East side: the jetty is an arrival point
BASK’s arrival map places the passenger jetty on Meno’s east side, opposite its western resort beach. The east coast is therefore the useful starting point for an arrival-focused beach day, particularly when you have bags or a fixed return sailing.
First locate your return reporting point. Then choose a shore stretch away from the working jetty and boat approaches rather than treating the landing itself as the swimming spot. A nearby room or restaurant can simplify the day, but does not establish a safe water entry.

Nest is Jason deCaires Taylor’s underwater sculpture installation off Meno, commissioned by BASK. The artist describes the adjoining beach as open to all; BASK locates the installation off the west coast. You do not need to confuse this beach with the east passenger landing.
The artist’s public-beach description does not grant use of the resort pool, loungers, towels or changing facilities. Arrange those separately if you want them. A beach outing can also be entirely on land: you do not have to swim to the figures to use this coast for an afternoon or sunset.

Mahamaya describes its position as Turtle Point on Gili Meno’s west coast and advertises sunset views. Use the full name and island when comparing locations or arranging a meeting: a booking or map result for Turtle Point on Trawangan answers a different journey.
This is a coastal landmark, not a promise of a turtle encounter or an empty beach. If your main objective is wildlife viewing, choose the actual guided activity and its origin separately rather than selecting a beach by its name.
Mahamaya: west-coast Turtle PointSunrise, sunset and the walk between them
BASK’s local guide places sunrise on the east and sunset on the west, and notes soft sandy sections on island paths. For an east-side arrival, one useful sequence is lunch near your landing, a walk across to the west for beach time, then a return with enough margin for your boat. If sunset is the main objective, an overnight stay avoids making the evening depend on an unverified late public departure.
Do not schedule a full coastal circuit just to reach one western beach. A bicycle may need pushing on sand, and a short map distance is not proof of a smooth luggage or wheelchair route. Use the getting-around guide for transport choices rather than assuming a paved promenade.
BASK: Meno coast and walking geographyBeach access and resort admission are different
Seri describes itself as an adults-only resort. That is a reason for families to choose another property for accommodation or confirm any proposed venue visit directly; it is not evidence that Meno’s entire coastline excludes children. Likewise, the artist’s statement about the Nest beach should not be expanded into a claim that every resort facility is open without charge.
No verified island-wide beach-facility pass or uniform day-use price is published here. For a simple beach walk, keep the public shore visit distinct from anything you want to buy from a venue.
Seri Resort: adults-only policyChoose swimming separately from the beach view
A sunset beach, offshore sculpture and a turtle-named point are location choices, not swimming clearance. BASK’s own beach-transfer instructions show that tide changes can move its landing to the opposite side of the island. Those boat-landing thresholds are not safe-swimming thresholds.
Use a locally assessed entry and exit for the conditions and your ability. Do not make a shore swim depend on reaching a statue, a turtle or another island; if you need supervision, arrange a guided session. Neither a boat excursion nor an early start guarantees calm water or no other visitors.
