Sanur hotel pickup and Sanur harbour are different
For the operators compared here, the practical choices from Sanur are a transfer to Serangan or a transfer to Padang Bai. BlueWater recommends Serangan for south Bali and specifically lists Sanur among its Serangan hotel-pickup areas. Gili Getaway’s Bali departure is also Serangan. Ekajaya identifies Padang Bai as its main Bali departure point.
Do not go to Sanur harbour just because your booking begins with the word Sanur. Ask the seller to distinguish hotel pickup location, boat departure port and arrival island on the confirmation. This guide compares verified options; it does not claim to list every operator or prove that no Sanur-harbour service exists.

Serangan: compare the stop pattern and travel month
BlueWater’s October table lists Serangan at 08:00 via Nusa Penida, arriving Trawangan at 11:00 and Air at 11:35. Its second October departure is 11:00 via Padang Bai, with Trawangan at 13:45 and Air at 14:20.
The November–April section instead lists Serangan at 09:00 via Padang Bai, with Trawangan at 11:45 and Air at 12:20. These are approximate published schedules checked in October 2026, not a confirmation for your date. All times are local WITA (UTC+8).
BlueWater gives an approximate Sanur hotel pickup of 90 minutes before its Serangan departure and a last check-in 30 minutes before sailing. The pickup allowance is not a claim that the road journey itself takes 90 minutes. Use the actual pickup and check-in instructions on your booking.

Gili Getaway’s published outbound line runs Serangan → Nusa Penida → Gili Gede → Senggigi → Trawangan → Air → Bangsal. Its route page shows 08:00 from Serangan, Trawangan at 11:45 and Air at 12:15, with advertised fares from IDR 700,000 to either island. Seats and the exact fare are confirmed during booking.
That makes it an option to compare, not a nonstop crossing or a guaranteed same-price alternative. Its page advertises South Bali pickup availability, but this does not establish that pickup at your particular Sanur address is included in the displayed boat fare.

A Sanur-to-Padang-Bai transfer is a different road journey from a Sanur-to-Serangan transfer. Compare the confirmed pickup time and total journey with your Serangan offer; the shortest advertised boat crossing alone does not decide the quickest trip from your room.
Ekajaya says its boat fares vary with season, availability and promotions, and Bali shuttle services cost extra according to location. Its separate Meno booking destination can be useful if Meno is where you will sleep, but the date-specific offer must still confirm that landing.

Keep the return journey separate when organising flights: reaching Bali by boat still leaves a road transfer, and delays can consume the margin. For a flight departure, plan a Bali overnight rather than treating the published arrival time as a protected connection.
