Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan is a fast-boat route from east Bali. BlueWater’s published timetable allocates about 1 hour 30 minutes to this sea leg; that excludes your road transfer and port check-in. Trawangan is its first island call after Padang Bai on the listed outbound service.
Padang Bai is worth comparing when you start in Ubud or east/central Bali. BlueWater recommends Serangan for south Bali and Padang Bai for central or east Bali. Compare the whole journey from your hotel rather than choosing on the crossing time alone.

BlueWater’s last check-in is 30 minutes before departure. Reach the named counter earlier than that deadline and use your confirmed ticket for its location. The same operator’s schedule gives an approximate Ubud pickup around three hours before a Padang Bai sailing; that is a pickup planning window, not a three-hour road-time claim. Other carriers have their own check-in rules.

BlueWater’s seasonal route tables explicitly place Trawangan after Padang Bai on its outbound Padang Bai service, with Air and Bangsal later in the loop. Select a dated sailing with these exact endpoints; the existence of that route does not establish a seat or departure today.

Trawangan is the destination on this ticket, not Air or Meno. BlueWater says it does not provide Gili hotel transfers. Arrange baggage assistance with your accommodation if needed and establish your route from the landing point before travelling.

BlueWater’s October table lists departure from Padang Bai at 12:15 and arrival on Trawangan at approximately 13:45. The November–April table lists 10:15 to 11:45. Both allow about 90 minutes at sea. The July–September tables also show an 08:00 Padang Bai departure arriving around 09:30; do not carry that peak-season departure into a winter plan. The boat may have come from Serangan before you board, but Trawangan is the next listed call after Padang Bai. Air and Bangsal come later. These are published schedule examples, not live seat or departure confirmation; weather and port clearance can change the journey.

Give the crossing its own travel day rather than attaching a prepaid afternoon excursion to the advertised arrival. BlueWater’s terms allow changes and cancellations and do not protect separately booked onward arrangements.
For a future flight from Bali, plan the return independently and spend the preceding night in Bali where practical. If the crossing is cancelled, confirm the carrier’s actual next sailing or offered alternative before changing accommodation.

Ekajaya also names Padang Bai and Trawangan in its official booking selector, but its FAQ says fares change with season, availability and promotions. Compare a dated quote with BlueWater rather than assuming one permanent fare. Ask whether the total includes your specific hotel pickup, baggage and harbour or landing charges.
